To get Elijah to eat his dinner I promised him that we could go "hunting" praying mantis after dinner (we where eating outside again). I had been wanting to see where that huge insect was living on our property and I thought Elijah would like it. So off we went.
This guy was the first thing we found. Who knew that we had so many frogs here?
We did not find the praying mantis, but for a 20 min "hunt" in the yard I think we did good.

I love frogs....I love their little songs at night.....kinda neat. I bet you all had a lot of fun. You should do a 'bug hunting' birthday party for him! Get safari hats and stuff...that would rock....make little bug houses! :-)
