My princess

Both kids come screaming/yelling up to me today and this is what followed:

Z: Each of you gets to tell me your side of it.  Elijah you can go first.

E: Ada was trying to pull the blanket out from under me and I asked her to stop nicely many times and she would not! Then she said that she was going to tell on me, so I had to come and tell on her first!.

Z: (keeping a straight face) Ada what is your side?

A: Brother (this by the way is what she always calls Elijah and I think it is SOOO cute, Mark thinks she should call him Elijah) was using a mean voice with me and I did not like it.

Z:  (me to Ada) Did you pull the blanket out from under your brother?

A: No.

(I look at Elijah)

E: But she tried to.

Z: Ada did you try and pull the blanket out from under your brother?

A: Yes.

Man we are in trouble in the teen years.
