Long time to see
Hello it has been ages since I have been here and I am sorry. I kinda miss it, but life has gotten busy and I have not had time. That said I am getting feed back from my readers (all 2 of them;) that they want photos of the kids so my solution is to start a photo-a-day blog. I will try and put a photo up everyday (well not on weekends), but I may or may not write anything with it, fair?
So here goes photo number one:

Stack-n-wack
Here is a table runner that I just got done today. I can not say that the colors are really my colors, but it was what I had on hand. It came out really small ( I was thinking it might be lap quilt size, but then I got kinda bored of it so I stopped;) so I decided that it would make a great table mat. I used the stuff you put in oven mits ( can not think of the name of it right now, but you know what I mean right?) Anyway we used it tonight and it worked great!!! Now I do not have to have 10 oven mits on the table ALL the time ( that may or may not have drove me slightly crazy).
Close up of the stack and wacks.

IT IS DONE!!!!
I got this quilt top done some time ago and did not know that I was going to do for quilting it. So when I decided to send out quilts to the longarmer I knew that this one was going to be one of the ones that I was going to send out. I am so happy I did. Last night I got the binding done and slept under it for the first time......love. Anywho here are more photos of it then you might need, but I could not stop taking photos of it;)

Kitty approved.
She did the flowers so cute.
So you can see all the different quilting.
" are you done yet... I am tring to sleep here."

Projects
A couple of projects I have been working on.

How cute are these little dresses? I have two more ( pink ) done. I want to put them in a shadow box and hang them in A's room. They are so much fun to make and I want to make more, but can not think of a good reason to make more.
I also got this table runner almost done ( all but the hand sewing on the binding.). I just love the way it came out. I was telling someone that you could have the ungliest project in the world and if you add giant rickrack to it becames the cutest project ever:). I told Ada this and she said " but this would not be ugly even if you did not have the rickrack.". Man I love that little girl.
Elijah had a play date yesterday, so Ada and I got to have girl time. She wanted to do one thing and one thing only.....paint with me. Not sure why this was so important her, but that is what we did. ( I am not going to lie to you I was not so into the idea, but as we did it we both had a lot of fun. That girl is smart that way.
Hope you all have a nice productive day.

Did you know that the internet has almost anything you might need?
I made this for dinner last night and it was sooo yummy and easy. I loved it, it went over so so with the kids (but anything that is not pizza or pasta kinda goes over so so with the kids in this house.)
OK why am I telling you this you ask, well I almost never make any Asian food because of the soy factor. Well Mark and I where talking about what to eat this week (because you know we have exciting conversations like that all the time) and he said to me "have you checked for a soy substitute?" (WELL DUHHHHHHHH) so onto the internet (not sure if you know this, but everything is in the internet) and within 2 seconds I found a recipe for making a soy substitute!!!!! Man that makes us happy here is the allergy house. It was easy and good. It made more then I needed so stuck the rest in the freezer ( we will see how that works). Anywho this is the recipe that I used.
Have fun on the internet;)
BTW have anyone of you seen this? It is kinda additive. (thank God they do not seem to have fabric.... that would really kill me;)

Brown paper packages tied up in bows
These are a few of my favorite things today ( this of course does not include my favorite favorite things like my sweet husband, huggable kids...... )

BTW did you hear the sad news that card holders will no longer get free soy? Bummer right... Oh well, My drink still makes me happy. Sometimes I tell my kids that I love them more then Starbucks, then they really know that they are loved;)
I had to go get Ada her first vilion book today and found this book for Elijah... Hope he is happy I got it :)
Ada planted these beans this summer and I was not sure they would grow, but grow they have and we have gotten a bunch of beans off them. ( OK maybe this is something that makes my little one happy, but in turn that makes me happy:)
This jacket that I got when I was out visiting my sister... I may or may not be wearing it everyday.... If you see me everyday in it please forgive me.:)
Smiles:). Does anyone else see The Scream in that one at the top?
I am starting to see The Scream everywhere. This is on my back porch... Kinda creepy right?
